Rodgers wants #4 retired NOW!!!

The Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers All Pro QB said recently on the Jim Rome show that wants Favre’s #4 retired. I’m going to tell you why I totally agree with him.
First off when they made the trade of their 17th pick of the 1st round for him in 1992 the Packers had gone 29 years without winning the title.
Bret therefore went on (1996) to win the Superbowl for this storied franchise.. So with that said that’s another reason why his number should be retired.
To cap it all off…Brett Favre owns a ton of records that probably will never be broken by anyone. The great Peyton Manning is the only player that is remotely close to passing some of his numbers.
So with a QB that has won you a Superbowl to make your franchise relevant again.. After 29 long years without winning a championship, broken every QB record you can imagine. How can you sit here and deny this man what he so greatly deserves? It doesn’t matter if he refused to retire or under your terms. Favre deserves this and therefore Aaron Rodgers is completely right about this. Do the right thing Packers and stop being idiots. Retire the #4 jersey
